Well it's definitely not easy is it. I just wish I could watch the racing too, although at least this is encouraging me to read the websites and follow what's going on.

My most success was the first Aspen slalom. Need to look carefully for next week and get off the bottom! It is fun, though!

Mens Super G my best so far but still well out of the top 100 let alone top 10 so lots to do.

I got all my picks in except for the mens Super G. Meant to do it after my daughters birthday party yesterday, but got to the site 10 mins to late to make my picks!

I will post the Hopefuls scores as soon as I can extract the data.
I have 'lost' Fastcarver and WayneC from my score tables for this weekend - can you list them please ?
There is still no mechanism to identify accumulative scores and I can't find any team scores - a disappointing backward step in functionality compared to last year.
And I can't find a 'contact us' link to ask the developers what is going on.

@codyaitch, Sorry, I'm out of sorts at the moment with suspected whooping cough and not really compos mentis to be honest. This is Michael Nyman's email address: fantasyskiracer@gmail.com. It is the one we used to exchange info last season.
My weekend was pretty dire to be honest but with so many retirements, injuries and comebacks I think it was pot luck as to who was where! I did not expect Aksel to come back to competition with such a abng, let alone win both races! Schiffrin's wins were to be expected with Hansdotter coming in second as least once, but the rest of the top 10 for the girls was anyone's guess.
I'm annoyed we can't see things as easily as before - the internal league is working this year because we have an even number of players. If WayneC and georgedelaney don't play next week I'll edit them out of the team as that will be 3 race weekends without taking part.

sorry missed the mens race but just enough time to scramble together the ladies and races for tomorrow. I don't like Vonn, but that was a great run to win today.

@Kooky, I don't either but she was amazing on the final section, she picked up nearly half a second from nowhere. Helps being a lard-arrse and having long levers to get down into a very streamlined efficient tuck. The 2 young Austrians looked like midgets along side her in the winners area!

I am trying to update all of Hopefuls scores for the weekend but can no longer pick up individual scores race by race.
When I click on my score for each race it shows my picks individual scores and across the top of the page my Global - Country - and Hopefuls position for each race and when I click on Global I can see the top 200 and when I click on Country I get all GB players - but when I click on Hopefuls I get a blank page.
Before I complain to the administrators I thought I would check to see what others can see and whether its a system or my laptop error

I assume the percentage thing is the overall score? In which case I really need to do better. I had an excuse this weekend, I was away (in Austria) so I had to do a shed load before I went in about 10 seconds flat. Not much thought went into any of them. I'll try something a bit more strategic for next weekend (for what it's worth!).

This isn't looking good! Ted crashing out and Svindal sick, so that is my 1 and 2 pick gone, at least I have Marcel in slot 3! And now Pinterault is out so my 5th place pick gone!

I lost 3 out of my top 4 for today already!
As for losing people - try unfollowing then Follow them again. I've got everybody and I can see everybody.
I deleted georgedelaney and WayneC from the team yesterday as they have not done any picks for this season. I think George is too busy with a new job and Wayne may already be out in the Alps and unable to log on.

Right I can see FastCarver's scores now. For this weekend Mens DH 351.25, SG 159.75, GS 0. Ladies DH1 636.25, DH2 373.75, SG 0.

@davkt, I wish I got 636.25 for the ladies DH. Unfortunately it was 363.25!
And I missed the two races yesterday due to looking after my two young kids while the wife was at work. Gutted.
Not sure what the % figure is but mine is 90% and i'm 190th (whatever that means)!

Dyslexic typo well spotted! Yep on the GS I had 5 DNF (well one didn't start so certainly couldn't finish!) but my other 5 were in the top 15, SG 6 didn't finish! Doing really badly this year down at about 1200, think my best result so far is in 300s where as the past couple of years I'd have been looking for a top 50 if not top 10 by now.
Oh and to avoid life getting in the way problems every time I update my team I apply to all future races, that way even if I can't do anything with it at a later date I should at least get a few points

Other than the individual race scores I am struggling to understand the positions and percentages generated by the system which, compared to last years accumulative individual and team scores, seems a backward step.
Being a retired bean counter I have thrown a few figures into last years spreadsheet so that Hopefuls can 'compete' against each other
I have included below- overall average scores for all races submitted - no of races submitted - average of the best 5 scores, which was the main criteria last year.
See how it goes and whether you think it is worth it - hope it makes sense.
FastCarver74 - overall average - 340.53 - races submitted - 10 - average of 5 best - 381.05
Dr Che - Almost Paraguayan - 310.94 - 12 - 362.90
Codyaitch - Amex Skidoos - 314.62 - 13 - 362.30
Kooky - Elanski - 312.83 - 9 - 362.15
Lynnecha - 277.79 - 11 - 360.65
Samerberg Sue - Suzy_Proell - 302.17 - 13 - - 349.00
Briand6868 - Briand6868 - 295.66 - 11 - 344.75
Hawkwind - 287.73 - 10 - 334.60
Queen Bodecia - queenie - 277.79 - 13 - 318.00
Davkt - Goingbackwards - 224.05 - 11 - 308.20
FastCarver74 - I still can't see your scores - I have Solden and Davkt has given me this weekends scores - but I don't have your scores for 27th, 28th and 29th November -post them or PM me and I will update your scores further
EDIT - thanks FastCarver74 - figures amended above - you have returned some cracking scores

@codyaitch, thanks for all of that. Yes, it makes perfect sense and it's fun to compete on that basis. The past weekend has thrown up some very unexpected results- but that what keeps things interesting!

I can't find any accumulative scores for individuals, countries or the the Hopefuls team - which seems rather strange because they have been the backbone of the scoring system over previous years, and I believe that there were sponsored prizes in the USA.
But hey - we will just play by ourselves
