Booked a week in serre chevalier next year and will be driving. Thinking of a day trip to ADH as we normally drive most of the way Friday. Which is the best way into the resort via Oz, vaujany or Allemont with ease of parking. Thx

I can't tell you about ease of parking at Allemond or Vaujanay; I've only parked in Oz, and not since 2020. In Oz there's a drop-off area and nearby multi-storey parking at the lower part of Oz Station. There's a nearby lift that gets you high enough to ski through the village to the (new) Poutran I/II gondola to Alpe d'Huez or take the short funicular to the top of the Eau d'Olle Express and then ski down to the Alpette gondola up to the Alpette-Rousses cable car to the Dôme des Rousses if you want to start the day with a red (Le Belvédère is nicer than Le Dôme, FWIW).
That said, the Eau d'Olle Express from Allemond to Oz Station gets you to Oz in half the time of driving and has 217 free parking spaces according to the Oz website. That's probably more convenient unless you are aiming for the earliest possible start.
Vaujanay is about 15 minutes drive beyond Allemond and farther from Alpe d'Huez. I've no idea how much parking there is at the gondola/cable car station but, if you want to ski Alpe d'Huez rather than Vaujanay itself, it's a bit of a detour via a red from either the Alpette or the Dôme des Rousses.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The Eau d'Olle lift from Allemond in the valley has got to be best option. Really easy drive to it along the valley floor, plenty of parking, fast lift up to Oz to join either the Poutran or Alpette lifts depending on where you want to start skiing. I believe it usually opens early enough for you to get up to Oz for first lifts from there too. Couple of decent hire shops in Oz if you need them for the day as well.

Auris used to be best way in for day trips from l2a , La Grave, SC etc but if you're in transit can't see why you'd look past Allemond.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The published opening times for the Eau d'Olle Express this season were 09:00 to 17:30, so you'd be in the queue for a gondola out of Oz at 9.10 to 9.15 if you were on the first cabin out of Allemond. The worst I've waited in Oz is 5 minutes, although I've never been there during a particularly busy week.
Of course, it would need a very early start from SC to be on the first lift out of Oz.

The thread title says that it will be on the way to Serre Chevalier.
There are a fair number of low cost chain hotels around Grenoble for the Friday night.

You'd need to check nearer the time, but this says that it'll be open 8.10am to 6pm this coming winter (9 to 5.30 in the summer).

Allemond is 5 mins off the main road and avoids twisty turny roads up to Oz and Vaujany. Seems like a no brainer (although I haven't been since that lift was put in)

There used to be (possibly only Wednesday) buses from L2A village to AdH village. The new option is the 4 times daily valley out and back bus from Venosc to Allemond via Bourg D'Oisans. I used it a month ago & it works well for L2A based people as it's an easy gondola ride down to Venosc directly from L2A village, but for AdH village stayers, Allemond isn't quick to reach in the morning, and the return would be time pressured by lift closures back from Oz to AdH.
P.S. No ski boots or skis are allowed on board the bus so you're wearing socks or carrying crocs.
