 Poster: A snowHead

Hello,
I have been looking at a chalet in La Plagne from www.thealpinegeneration.com/
They seem to be a small chalet operator. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with them from a recent holiday?
Their chalets are mostly described as classic, so I know they will not be high end.
Thanks.

You might want to correct the spelling of their name in the thread title?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Dear dh900, I don't know if you are looking for a self catered chalet but you might want to check THE CHALET THAT I RUN. Almost 100 5-star reviews, many of them from British customers. Sebastien.

Even though MY CHALET is a self catered chalet, I offer many hotel-style bespoke concierge services such as ski chalet fitting, delivery of meals, chef à domicile, etc...

Stayed with them in a "signature" chalet in Morzine earlier in the season. It was all very standard chalet fare really I think the signature element was fizz and canapés before dinner and there was a hot tub so probably not worth the premium unless that is important to you!
No issues in terms of standard or chalet or comms etc but nothing that would make them stand out IMO

@sebgauthier, are you associated with that chalet perchance? Its just that all your posts plug it something rotten.

We stayed in an Alpine Generation chalet-apartment in Plagne 1800 a couple of years ago. Standard catered chalet setup, however our chalet host was spot on. She had grown up staying in fairly high-end chalets so wanted to try to bring that attitude to customer service.

If you are looking at LaPlagne - I can very highly recommend Alpine 365 - they have chalets in same location as Alpine Generation.
I have stayed with them twice this year in 2 different chalets
