Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Idle daydreams of skis

I’m just having idle daydreams of skis.

I love my Atomic Bent 90’s but just thinking about why I need to win the lottery so I can get a pair of

Rossignol Forza 50 V-max skis - probably the right ones for me and to grow into
Renoun Atlas 80 skis because I like the idea of the vibe stop materials
Stockli Montero AS skis as they felt so awesome when I demoed them in Arabba but probably too much ski for me but they felt so good underfoot, although they did raise my Carv score by 3-4 points.
My own skis made at this workshop in Austria because they would just be awesome to make - probably with coloured wood pattern. https://spurart.at/en/

I know I don’t need 4 skis all roughly the same but that’s why it’s an idle daydream Very Happy

Good point but as more skiing = not earning money that is problematic. Of course on a wish list then I already assumed I would be skiing all season Eh oh!

Hmm I could do the handmade skis as proper powder skis so then just 3 the same….

If I were a ski, my daydreams would be sliding on soft (or hard) snow! Very Happy

Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with any of the models in the list, so can’t get more specific on what kind of snow and terrain to dream about
