Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Brixen and Hopfgarten, Kirchberg and Kitzbuhel Transfers (winter)

@toyah807, Well done on making the decision. I feel your pain and a few hundred quid saving is not to be sniffed at but it’s difficult to put a price on potential sacrifices (like having to use a bus, distance to town or quality of immediate pistes)
Fwiw I think I would have chosen Brixen as well. I have researched the same hotel in the past and it does seem to offer good value rates.
You are also in a great place to head off in various directions (Westendorf, main area of Skiwelt or Kirchberg via bus to pick up Kitzski- or ski there via Westendorf).
You mention Skijewel.. just be a bit careful with this as your closest access point is Niederau (via the road up from Hopfgarten), which I like but is very small. It’s another 20 minutes along the valley to Auffauch, which links up with Alpbach providing the bulk of the (good) skiing. Might be quite a treck!

@EdYarker, good point about Niederau. Most will try to make full use of the Superski pass across SkiW and Kitzski anyway. But all booked and sorted so I can relax for a while. Used the Four Seasons suggestion for transfers, a flight change means I don't need the single seat any more
The only other footnote is that the owner of the Brixnerwirt has been really proactive in trying to help me find a single room (suggesting several nearby properties, he is full) and that is a positive sign I think.
