Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)
Remember me:
durr, I forgot...
Or: Register
(to be a proper snow-head, all official-like!)

Wanted - bargain kit for dryslopes please

Was due to fly in 2 weeks, but that's not happening due to you know what.

I'm now thinking that I'll use some of the money i get back to pay for a 12 month lift pass for my son and i at the local dry slope. Snowtrax, if it's relevant.

I'd still need to pay nearly £10 a time for us to rent skis and boots, and as the quality is 'variable', i thought of see if anyone has anything old, but serviceable knocking around.

This was going to be his first trip, so he gutted at not being able to go. He did great with the 'learn in a day' at Snowtrax a couple of weeks ago, and we actually went again yesterday for a warm up, but with resorts now shut, I'm trying to find something positive to keep him motivated to wait another year. He has some additional needs, and this trip has been a great focus for him. As you can imagine, he's gutted this morning...

Ideally looking for boots for him, he's in around 6.5/7 at the mo, and he was skiing on 140's.
Boots for me at around 11.5/12, and skis at around 170 for the dry slope. I have some old X Wave boots that were discussed here a while ago, but the consensus was that they may well fall apart.

Anyone, who has bothered to read this much, got anything going, that isn't going to cost a fortune please let me know.

I've got an old pair of Dynastar 71's in 171cm length, old but in good condition that I'd be happy to continue to be useful, I have no idea of relative values of s/hand skis but £50 seems a reasonable amount to me, buyer to pay postage . If this is of interest I'd be happy to post photos.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Just seen a post with 6yr old Dynastars for sale @ £75.00 mine are way older so I think £25.00 is much more appropriate.
