Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

FWIW Easyjet and the rules say you can claim up to a year after the flight, so I am hoping if/when this calms down I will be able to claim,
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name.

Easter EJ flight (Wednesday before) now cancelled - but is showing that I can move it to one of two flights the following day that are still running!!! Not that I would want to... Has anyone tried claiming money back by using the on line compensation for cancelled flights form? just thinking this might be easier than a phone call.... That form crashed and reloaded when I tried it over the weekend.

@mountainaddict, @Peter S, yeah I asked them directly about the button, and from what I saw there were huge piles of snow that needed manually digging out on the button tow track. With all the fresh snow they kept getting they could only dig out the T and then couldn't work on the button when the T was running.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Simplest answer for main basin queues is to run the button that is already there!!

Try here, and say Greg Hilton recommended you! Ask for a package price including a lift pass. Ticks all your boxes, price very dependent on avoiding peak weeks as they get many many repeat visitors. https://www.hubertushof-arlberg.at/en/

The flight we had on Saturday can't be found now to claim anything!! Thinking going via the bank which then claim it off easyjet via chargeback.

and their FAQ has changed, no mention of refunds My flight has been cancelled, what are my options? As you may be aware, strict travel restrictions have been implemented by authorities for flights and citizens arriving and departing from some countries. As a result of these extraordinary circumstances, your flight may have been cancelled. If your flight is cancelled you can transfer to another flight for free, or select to get an easyJet voucher that you can redeem at a later date by selecting “manage disruption” in Manage Bookings and the voucher is still useless for us folk wanting to ski Easter 2021!! The voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. The voucher can only be used on easyJet.com using the same easyJet account as the original booking. Not available on the mobile app. The voucher code must be entered on the payment page prior to completion of the booking. Only one voucher can be used per booking.

Has anyone had a refund for unused lift pass (not season pass)? My Easter trip next weekend is obviously not happening and filled in the forms a few weeks back.

@Handy Turnip, they have cut off the phones, you get a recorded messaging saying they are busy and please ring back later. That is my concern that they are just ignoring everyone and will avoid refunds.

What are folk doing? Holding out for a refund, even though impossible to apply for, or moving the flight before it was due to go?? No choice but to hold out for a refund - as Jonny996 mentions below, the next flight I need will be Easter 2021 but until they open up the schedule to include those dates then I can't move it. I'd quite happily take a credit note, doesn't have to be cash refund. I booked Easter flight to go at Easter, release they 2021 Easter flights and I will transfer but up till now they have only released up to end of February 2021 My worry is they'll try and wiggle out of it after the flight "should" have gone......

Lack of a refund button likely to be because the airline operators are trying to get a temporary stop to the EU law that says they have to make a refund if the flight is cancelled. They are asking to be able to issue a voucher to prevent them going under. I'd do a link to the news story if I had the tech skills.... This could well be the real reason
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

. Perhaps if they had a refund button there would be less people on the phones trying to get one....... I wonder if their back end systems aren't clever enough to be able to identify a 'refund' compatible cancellation reason against a flight booking that didn't go ahead? I think that is my view, a simple refund button would surely keep folk happy and take the load off!!!

same here, daughter has an email but no refund option! If you still wish to travel to your destination you can: Transfer your flight free of charge by going to manage bookings or visiting the easyJet app. If you didn’t book your flights through either easyJet.com or our easyJet Mobile App then please contact us. If you do not wish to travel: If you no longer wish to travel, you can choose to switch to any other easyJet flight through Manage Bookings

@swskier, France (of course) is complicated, but the OP currently wants to work on dry slopes. Pass the ‘Test Technique’ as a BASI Level 2 or BASI Level 3 instructor. This enables you to teach at a French ski school as a trainee for 4 years. During this period, you must reach BASI Level 4 ISTD, which is the highest level an instructor can reach under the BASI system.

@yorkshirelad, that's not why, since L1 is only for plastic / indoor anyway. I've done the L1 course indoors and the L2 outdoors, if money was no object clearly a week in the Alps would be more enjoyable. However it's not really about skiing loads of runs, you'll be repping the same slope outdoors the same as indoors! But if cost is important then IMHO you get just as much from doing it indoors (perhaps even more as no bad weather) and more "runs" and very focused feedback than outdoor.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name.

@Math1984, do it in one of the snowdomes, assuming they reopen! and assuming you are close to the standard and willing to adapt your skiing. I don’t think it is the travelling in cars per se that the govt is worried about, its the potential for social contact at the other end. Heading off into the hills on skis should avoid social contact :sH: I think the main issue is if you have an accident and need medical assistance/ambulance/hotel bed from an overreached NHS. Potentially you could get "left" as not life critical. It's just not worth the risk IMHO. The mountains will still be there after this is all over.

Easyjet website says Following the number of government restrictions and travel advice across our network, we will be grounding the majority of our aircraft from Tuesday 24 March onwards. Although we know this may be disappointing for some customers, we hope that by announcing this now, it will provide more notice and certainty for you all.

Main basin at Glencoe now reporting 620cm. Touring only now however. The tows are closed after some local political pressure on the centre staff :( The tows are closed due to a worldwide pandemic which will kill millions.
