Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Interesting that they don't mention only selling an average of 18 tickets per flight (according to Simon Calder on BBC this morning) as a contributing issue.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name.

Last couple of times through Geneva I've noticed the passport queues are already now labeled with one lane for "EU+UK" and one for "other nationalities"

As @loatie, says once through security there's a waiting room and a bus back to the main terminal. Went through there at Christmas. No queue for security either so worked out quicker than the huge line in t1.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@ianbradders, never had an issue. My ski bag is around 190cm @Bergmeister, that's odd as their carry on size is still the same as BA. easyJet standard is now smaller and it's anyone's guess what Ryanair's policy today.

I've bought stuff from them several times and had no issues and I've returned a couple of items and again no issues getting my money refunded. Not quite sure how having problems with the PostOffice/ParcelForce/DHL service makes exxposed "scammers" :~/

@clarky999, if you trim/chamfer the plastic on the inside where the metal shaft goes I'm. Doesn't need much and they separate normally.

@PROJECT_MANAGER, a friend broke her ankle a few years ago (stepped in s rabbit hole). The x-ray looked similar to yours and it was 8 weeks before we had a ski trip booked. She was out of plaster but in pain walking on it before we went but could cycle and a test at chillfactore showed skiing was possible so we went. Skiing was fine but the issue was getting her foot in and out of her boots. They had to be warm and that meant on return, a hairdryer was used before attempting to remove them.

@Bernardo, turn the tabs on each end 90' (do the thin bit points out) and the lens should then pull out of the slottted holes There are pegs that locate in holes along the top/botton so it might take more force than you expect (it surprised me the first time). Going back locate in the slots and lock the tabs first then push the pegs in the pegs.
Then you'll get to see more forums.

Never heard of or delt with them but... My experience with igloski/ifyouski/etc is that the late deals they offer can be found direct with the tour operators, give or take a few pounds. If the prices are significantly lower I'd be suspicious.

@Hells Bells, good top hear you had no problems with the TopEurop tag. I swapped to one after my old one started playing up this summer but haven't used it yet. The reg thing could be a pain should I take it to use in a hire car though. Think when ordering you could have France/Spain/Portugal or France/Italy or all four and the initial cost varied accordingly.
And they're a friendly bunch.

@sbooker, Italian driving isn't bad once you realise they don't dither. They either go or stop. Just be decisive and you'll be fine. Don't just take photo outside the Duomo get the roof ticket (walk up the stairs or pay more for the lift if your not up to that) and you get really good views. Avoid the big queue for tickets outside by buying them in the museum across the square. Through the shopping mall from there and keep right out the other end for a couple of nice and slightly less touristy restaurants. First one was full of local Italian families when I was there. If you thought the cars were nice in Munich wait till you see Milan.

Having skied on them this week (only in alpine mode) a couple of observations... The pressure required to click in is feels very easy which makes life a lot simpler when off piste than the f10's on my other skis. Avoid clearing snow/ice from your boots on the toe binding as it can flick it into touring mode.

Every one for themselves I think. The new bubbles have run fine every morning but failed in the afternoons 3 times, so don't worry about getting up the hill to ski. In the evening it runs until midnight to boisses and buses from there to Val/leLac apparently but nobody will swear to that.

Meanwhile hope you're getting your Shifts sorted and practising your kick turns in your kitchen, maybe you'd like to come out with me one day when you're out on the Off Piste Bash  Completely missed that untill Ian posted it. I would try that but fear my dogs would die laughing... as long as I didn't decapitate them first. As for the invite, I'd love to but suspect you don't appreciate just how crap I am at this skiing lark and the risk of succumbing to the same fate as the dogs ;-)
