Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We've been the weeks before and after the Hahnenkamm races, with a TO as that's about the only way to get accomodation in Kitz for race week. The week before is great for the party atmosphere race goings on. Just the race pistes closed. The week after by the Monday you wouldn't know anything had happened. TO flight times and transfers mean you probably won't get to see much if any of the downhill though.

@BoardieK, is the deal not zero tariff (i.e. customs duty) ? VAT may be due though. EDIT : Looks like you're correct, unless it's a 0% duty rate. This is why no one likes politicians.

@brianatab, after a bit of googling it looks like Funivie Saslong S.p.a. who are not operating this season, run the Sochers Hotel and the Saslong and presumably the Sochers lifts . Ciampinoi, Monte Pana, Gherdeina Ronda and Col Raiser (maybe) are separate companies I think, but you can't find out who owns what lifts exactly. This was interesting, via Dun & Bradstreet Company Description FUNIVIE SASLONG SPA is located in SELVA DI VAL GARDENA, BOLZANO, Italy and is part of the Professional Sports Teams & Organizations Industry. FUNIVIE SASLONG SPA has 6 employees at this location and generates $5.45 million in sales (USD). There are 2 companies in the FUNIVIE SASLONG SPA corporate family. @MorningGory, you'd hope that was the case, but it's sport for some people. I've met some who said they make a claim for every package deal they'd been on.

Looks like the free bit will be restricted, from easyjet.com Switch to another easyJet flight for free. This includes the option to select a different arrival and departure airport within the same country of the original booking if you wish. I would still expect to pay the difference else I could have changed to Gibraltar 2022 flights! Damn :D
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@DanB234, when I changed our LTN-SZG flights in March only the fee was free. The value of the original flight was credited to cost of the new one and you paid the difference.

@ousekjarr, I was encouraged to stay active and later on use the boot to bear weight. Regular physio and exercises at home to the letter very important.

Did mine a few years ago and had a Rooney boot like yours. Complete recovery, it may even feel better than the other natural one. No impact on my skiing.
