Anyone care to give me their gut feelings for 3 valleys next week?... was gearing up for a week of piste skiing in the sun but now it all looks quite unsettled from midweek ish?

Is there any apres for the chalets higher up in la Tania, or is it a case of don’t finish to late and take the Gros Murger drag up and hop off half way.

Just booked up for last week in jan 2020 to la Tania with Silverski as had a fantastic week with them this season. Booked Chalet Avril but can’t find it on the la Tania chalet map, I know it’s a long shot but wondered if anyone might have an idea what it was previously called.

Arrived on Sunday in Les brevieres, after a bit of worrying about conditions I've got to say I am really impressed, the pistes are really good, skiing mainly reds yesterday from grand motte- lac- val claret and down to Les brevieres the only real tricky thing for me at the mo is visibility ;) 5+ cm yesterday and it's all fresh this morning but a touch milder...happy days!

@chocksaway, drawing ever nearer...4 days to go!! , fingers crossed for snow as always! Would you say the pistes are still holding out pretty well overall?

So I'm staying in Les brevieres in a weeks time and I will need to hire decent skis, can anyone tell me if there are good reasonably priced shops in brevieres or do I need to go elsewhere?

@chocksaway, only 1week to go and enjoying reading your posts to see what the current conditions are like, having not skied ek before am I right in thinking it's tricky skiing down to Les brev at the mo.... We are a bunch of confident intermediates, varying abilities and not a lover of icy moguls

@mistral, significant birthday or not..... two ski hols in 1 year is the stuff dreams are made of!....you have a great time, judging by what people have told me it sounds like a cracking area to ski.....can't wait!

@mistral, I'm going on the 29th jan also, staying in Les brev and its my first time in ek .... So chuffed with the recent snow and cold conditions for this week
