Rules
From snowheads
I know this is the Rules page but don't worry :)
This part of SnowHeads is a wiki. That means that anyone who registers can edit it (yes, really).
Now if everyone just dives in and changes things willy-nilly, it'll end up being confusing and hard to look after. So this page just offers some suggestions...
(nb needs editing into more user friendly terms)
Reviews and Opinions
Generally the main wiki pages should be factual - but that doesn't mean we don't want opinions and reviews. Short reviews should go in the 'discussion' pages (?) For longer reviews or opinion pieces create a personal sub-page and link to it from the discussion page. They should always be cited so we know who's opinion we're reading.
The reason for this is that it's easy to edit/add or change a 'fact' - but if it's part of someone's personal 'story' then it's more intrusive - and we want the information to be kept up to date.
Resorts
Resorts page names are the same as a resort eg Val Thorens Don't make them about your experience with a resort - keep it factual. (we should have a template) For more in-depth info look at Resort page rules
Equipment
Look at Equipment page rules for information on creating a new page. This includes info on how to add your equipment page to different categories that should make it easy to find equipment items.
