Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Boots!

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey - Newbie here wondering if anyone can help me!

I've got a pair of Atomic Ski Boots - bought in France a few years ago because they were pink and white and had a fur lining... now wishing I had made a more comfortable choice haha!!

The boots are really tight around my shins even on the loosest settings where the buckle is barely even pulling the boot in.

Is there anything or any way of adjusting them that I just can't see that would miarculously make them feel better?!!? Going skiing again tomorrow so hoping theres something I can do!

Any help most appreciated Happy

24sweetlittle, Welcome to snowHeads snowHead

The clips can be moved to give you a bit more room if the loosest setting is still too tight. Depending on where you are there are bootfitters that can sort them for you if you don't fancy DIY.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'm not far from Glenshee... I don't mind doing it myself - need to find the tool tho!

I feel like it can't be the clip because it's not doing anything just now on its current setting at tightest - if that makes sense - ive taken a pic but no idea how to post it?!
