Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 40,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Flooding due to the expected thaw could be reduced by building snowmen, advises the Environment Agency... see this

I always knew Frosty the Snowman was a great bloke, but I didn't realise he also saved people from flooding.... Toofy Grin

 snowHeads are a friendly bunch.

I think we've all got to do our bit, some Dunkirk Spirit should get us through, plus if we all stuck to traditional building methods we could see a revival in the UK carrot market and coal industry. Irresponsible of the Telegraph to encourage people to use bits of sodding fruit as buttons on their snowman.

Alternatively as a fun way of educating kids (while none of them seem to be at sodding school) we could build giant anatomically correct snowcocks, using an entire bag of carrots to provide ginger pubes, further helping UK farmers. It would help them to understand that no matter how big or small, ginger or otherwise, they should be comfortable about their bodies.

If every house had a massive snowcock in the front garden, I see it as a visible contribution to the rest of the nation.

Well here's a massive snowcock, although it's not in the front garden:
