Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where are you staying (each PdS resort tends to have its own lift pass website and the first gate you tap through needs to be in that resort)?

You need to Login to know who's really who.

Just go to the lift pass office and buy one at the counter?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I'm sure that isn't the case. I only have an account with morzine and always top up passes there and never had any issue starting from multiple spots across the French side. You do need to start in country you buy it though.

Yep, it used to be the case that you had to use it in the company area you bought it from, but as you say now they just limit the Swiss/France start point to stop currency arbitrage (and there seems to be some uncertainty in that).

For the OP - both Avoriaz (SERMA) and Morzine have “improved” their websites and they are an absolute bag of spanners. I bought my daughter a 4 day pass on her existing card and that worked ok (through Morzine), but I couldn’t get it to work through SERMA at all.

Cheers for the responses, and apologies for the lack of detail.

I started this email to explain my process, but it now appears to be working. Checkout now leads to a payment page. Smile

Let's assume it was the website's fault and not my incompetence. Embarassed

Again many thanks for all your efforts

Cameron

For clarity my process was...

https://en.portesdusoleil.com/ > Lift Passes > Select Your Station > Champery > Mult-day ticket > 5 days > 9th Feb > 6 people > Ages > Get My Tickets = Portes du Soleil X 6 5 days 09/02/2024 1 630,00 CHF was 1 810,00 CHF > Add to cart > Go to checkout...

Oh a different page!
