Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

When it February? Saturday traffic can be horrendous because of school holidays meaning the world and his dog goes skiing. Any chance you could fly out late on a Friday night and beat the jams?

A couple of resorts for you to consider Les Sept Laux (approx 150km) or Chamrousse (approx 140km).

Don't know Les Sept Laux, but I enjoyed skiing Chamrousse (where Killy triumphed at the 1968 Winter Olympics).

Also Alpe du Grande Serre, not been but supposedly very pretty and close to Grenoble, good off-piste I'm told.

I know the prices for the helicopter are fairly mind-boggling but heres the official site www.saf-helico.com light planes are much mcuh cheaper and 'do-able' at a couple of hundred euros each way but you are a bit tied to the weather - if its snowing or a whiteout the plan can't take off - the pilots no is 0033 661726093 and her name is Pascale (for others watching this space she really only operates in this part of the world and far less in Savoie)!

If you do phone Pascale mention my name Sarah (English gril from ADH) as I know she is restricted to the transfers she can do but will bend the rules for people she 'knows'!
