Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski boot balance alignment without specific problems

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm a little tempted by the idea of the "solutions4feet" boot setup and balance alignment service, as I have a bit of spare cash I want to fritter away on a luxury Smile

I've skiied three weeks (one week a year) plus odd days here and there in Milton Keynes, in my own boots (bought from Snow&Rock) apart from the first week. I'm a reasonably confident skiier and very keen to improve.

I don't know that I have any specific problems to fix - I don't know enough to separate out flaws in boot setup from my technique and random variations. My motivation would be to try and remove some variables so I can concentrate on improving my technique.

So, my question is: would this be a worthwhile idea, or is it waste of time and money until I have more experience and/or specific problems in mind?

I've had this done, and found it very worthwhile. The Alignment service is provided by Andi McCann of http://www.mccannix.com/

Suggest as a starting point you get your current boots checked for fit at Solutions for Feet before you book with Andi McCann.
