Poster: A snowHead
|
I rememeber some years ago seeing daytrips advertised at £99 per person, the idea seemed like a good one but hadn't seen anything recently. Now, with budget flights, it becomes possible as a DIY job.
With that in mind I have just booked up for a day trip for a Saturday in January. Flying out Stansted-Milan at 6:40 and back at 22:10. If connections and travel work out as scheduled then we could get about 5 hours on the snow. Cost of flight and car hire are £56 per person, lift pass and ski hire have to be added.
Mrs Z thinks it madness.
Has anybody else done a daytrip? How did it go? Am I as foolish as Mrs Z thinks?

"My day trip day trip for a Saturday in January, flying out Stansted-Milan at 6:40 and back at 22:10 will be brilliant".
