Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just back from the Lecht

Was over visiting mates in Aberdeen for a long weekend and managed to squeeze in an afternoon at the Lecht on friday.

They had 4-5 inches of fresh snow and about 5 runs open, although rough in places. Only 5 people on the mountain including 3 of us. So great fun.
Looking across Cairngorm was completely white and looked beautiful.

Very friendly lift people.

Nice end to my season.

I cant believe it! the Nevis is open and has good(ish) snow! Only 2hrs from me

and ive got the weekend off work but Ive got to go down south and suffer a family party nooooooo!!!!!!!!

Right my neighbours have gone up to the Nevis, but I decided to be a really good girl and go to my one and only lecture today ( have already missed 2 weeks this semester cos of skiing) so I got there at 9am all ready to embrace learning and lo and behold the class has been cancelled until after easter!

But my neighbours have already left and are half way to the SNOW!!

SO I have missed out on a great days skiing for nothing, I will have to fill the void by going to the Debenhams sales !
