Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where would you go, first week in April, for good weather?

Thinking about going back to 3V, maybe La Tania, the first week of April. I know snow/weather isn't predictable, but is there likely to be anywhere that promises to be a better option than 3V?

I keep hearing/reading that there should be enough snow around then, and we do love the area, but good snow and plenty of skiing is the most important thing so I am wondering if I should really be looking specifically elsewhere....

Southern Hemisphere is nice this time of year.

Its an interesting question all the same. If you want good quality snow you would be best to go to a higher resort. That said I am sure that La Tania would be fine.

Les Deux Alpes has a glacier so there will be perfect conditions at the top. Runs are a bit lacking in variety though a bit cheaper then other resorts.

I'd go somewhere sunny myself.

Sorry, was that not helpful?

I think I'd go and stay in a lovely apartment, somewhere near the Brevent bubble, in Chamonix. Anyone have any ideas where I might find one?

Go as high as possible.

Try Tignes, France, Zermatt, Switzerland, or Lech, Austria.
