Poster: A snowHead
|
Went downtown this afternoon and saw that one of the local sports shops is selling these for about 250 Euros.
Question: Anyone got any views on these skis? Would I be making a big mistake by just diving in and buying a pair? I mean 250E is not going to break the bank, even if it is a German one.

Skied them once. Not a piste ski due to the lenght and flex pattern. Really nice in fresh snow, likes to go fast. When i tried them' it was snowing, so lots of piste-side fresh snow wich was great, skiing down at the end of the day through the bumps thad formed on piste, not so much fun. A ski for those two great powder days

BUY THEM!
I rented a pair in Utah last year on a powder day....I owned then at 5.30 that evening.
You won't use them every day...but on the days you do use them (powder days!) you will have a HUGE smile on your face!

Mike Lawrie,
Is that just for skis only or does it inc bindings? Remember reading that some atomics have a plate and only atomic bindings can be mounted on them. Also read that for certain years the atomic bindings were really heavy. If they come with plate but without bindings it might be worth checking up on binding prices / weights esp if you ever plan to do touring / day tours with them.
