Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bode Miller cuts short his season - again

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
After an injury in Sochi, Russia, the US racer is out of action for the rest of this winter's World Cup. Miller, 34, raced 10 days ago in Bansko, Bulgaria, but that aggravated an injury to his left knee sustained at the future Olympic venue, Sochi, a week earlier, where he missed the podium by 0.02sec...The racer returned to the US for an evaluation and exploratory arthroscopy on the knee following the races in Bansko.

"The plan was to come back and race in Crans Montana," said Miller, "but I couldn't get the range of motion that I needed out of my knee to be competitive. We thought if I rested a few more days, things would come around, but it didn't happen."

Miller has been racing the World Cup circuit for 17 years. He has been overall World Cup champion twice, as well as winning four World Championships and five Olympic medals. This season, his best result was first at the World Cup downhill at Beaver Creek.

He intends to continue training and racing following recovery from further knee arthroscopy.

Miller also missed the tail end of last season - not for the first time...

Cynic, thats bollux. Bode has always been the type of skier who will race to the very limit. He crashes out more than most but when he gets it right , he often podiums, he was like that on Atomics, may have won a bit more but he was younger then Wink

And to all the people slagging him off for not finishing the season, the guy has just had knee surgery, do you think it´s viable he should race WC Speed events 6 days later?? Mad rolling eyes

waynos, not that I have to justify myself, but "to all the people" was figuratively speaking. I have no problem whatsoever calling someone out if I know who they are.

This thread does not allow one to edit own post only reply to it, either firefox or SH is pranged so gave up early a.m. my apologies, I summise Bode better skier on Atomic than Head, due to the Head tech skis not suiting him.
