Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Advice on Pant (not the Superhero Kind)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I just recieved my dakine gloves and heely hansen exploit pant, one problem ,the trousers are too small. They are supposed to be a small/30". I took this to believe they would fit as I am a 30" waist and 32" leg. They were a wee bit tight round the waist but severely short in the leg. Around 3". What I was wondering was if I ordered some Nike Acg goretex pant in a 32" would they be too big. maybe snow And Rock provide you with leg in inches as opposed to waist size, What do ya reckon Smile

A 32 waist should give you a 32 leg. Also, you can always put a belt on them!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Edmundh009, AFAIK they should be waist sizes. Im in a slightly worse situation than you neededing typycally 32" waist, 30" leg. Not commonly found. So if the Helly pants have short legs I'm going to investigate. Do they do them in sunflower yellow or lime green?

But seriously, the Nike's should fit fine, I think that shorter pants are 32" regular 34" and long 36". A little more space always allows for more layers and added manoeuverability! I found my Mountain Hardwear GTX shells to fit well, I think they're just m,arked up as "Small"

Prefer braces to belt myself. Spindrift has an uncanny affinity for "builders' bums", IUSWIM.
