Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Arlberg over and out

Poster: A snowHead
Alas last day in St Anton today Sad

The smiles hide the suffering from having tried to keep up with our fantastic chalet hosts, Hannah and Tess, in the Funky Chicken last night....

Drove up to St Christophe for a quick langlauf before lunch

Went for quick ski to blow away the cobwebs but banned from skiing the Schindlergrat couloir again Sad

Lunch at the lovely Hospiz Alm, St Christophe

Mich and Millsy loving the slide down to the toilets

So much she went up again!

Great place for lunch - if your hungry try the ribs!

And then back home to Switzerland....

Thanks to Horizon who recommended the Arlberg and the other Snowheads who offered advice. What a great place. We'll certainly be back!

Great set of pictures BobinCH, thanks for bringing back a lot of memories!

Out of interest which chalet did you stay in, the picture looks vaguely familiar?

BobinCH, Really enjoyed your photos this last week, you clearly had a great time, and it brought home (as if required) how brilliant St Anton/ Arlberg really is and its given me loads of ideas for when I go again for our 2x annual fix next year. I note you didnt have a guide and went to some pretty "out there" places, were you concerned at any time or are these routes all deemed pretty safe (except Mooswirt which is never safe!!)? I'd appreciate your feedback, I and my pals have ABS and full Av gear but am always personally a tad wary and would appreciate your thoughts. Madeye-Smiley

Totally agree with the others. Glad to see others enjoying the arlberg as much as I do, and it's not that I just see it through mooserwirt soaked beer goggles

Ah, can't have been the one I was thinking of, I think the Mooserwirt is a pretty new chalet by the looks of it. Looks very nice too Smile
