Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow condtions can be variable but you'll probably never ski anywhere with such stunning scenery. Great food as well.

jb1970, stick sella and ronda (with the word 'and' in the middle) into the site search engine and you get 51 hits. All relevant stuff. Then you can also use the snowBase resorts database for the individual resort names.

jb1970, Undoubtedly the most stunning scenery I have experienced while skiing. All the other accolades and recommendations should come out with the search kuwait_ian advises.

jb1970, Haven't been there for more than 20 years, but would recommend Selva as a great centre. A number of tour operators also offer Canazei which is also a lovely resort which is an easy transfer from Innsbruck or Verona. If you snow conditions are good the area is magic!! Smile

Which one would be best - Selva or Canazei. Just looking at a ski brochure just now (First Choice) and it says that Sella Ronda is a huge area over 1000km of piste with around 20 resorts in total. Looks a bit disjointed - are these resorts linked?

Thanks

jb1970, years since I was there and I stayed in Corvarra and didn't do the full circuit. In principle, yes the Sella Ronda is a circuit of linked resorts, subject to snow conditions of course.

jb1970, Canazei is nice, a bit quieter than Selva maybe, or it was a few years back. I'd probably go for Canazei, but, I'd honestly not think it's going to make much difference to your holiday, either will good locations. I've stayed in Campitello as well, smaller, quieter, not everyone's thing but I liked it.

Nadenoodlee, no, I'm fairly sure we've got it reduced to the Sella Ronda Very Happy

jb1970, As I said - haven't been there for ages, but I would agree with ISE. Canazei has a good selection of accommodation and the tranfers are easier than for Selva.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Nadenoodlee - Just keeping my options open. Still not sure where to go and half the problem is my partner can't make up his mind either!!!

Nightmare!!!

Thanks to everyone who responded. No doubt I will be asking about some other resort as well at some point!!!!! Shocked

Just one last thing - is Sella Ronda (Selva, Canazei, etc) suitable for early intermediates?

Thanks
