Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting from Moutiers to La Tania - How much for a taxi ?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Me and a mate are going off to La Tania in a couple of weeks and need to get up to La Tania from the 7am overnight arrival at Moutiers train station on the 19/2.

Options seem to be:

Bus - have to book in advance
Private transfer - not keen on just two people
Taxi - How much will that cost ?

Any other cunning plans ?

It's not far at all. Shouldn't cost more than £20 or £30. However I'd suggest you get there and have a look around, I am sure that you will be able to sweet-talk your way onto a bus. The bus station is on your right as you come out of the station. Failing that there is a taxi rank right in front of the station and there's bound to be a taxi there for you. I had a friend who took the snow train last year and just got onto the local bus for a few pounds straight up to Val T (which is very considerably further).
However I like bbski's plan, a lot more glamorous!

Saturday morning at Moutiers station in the middle of February? Shock I would book in advance for the bus (you can do it on the net and they will send you the tickets in UK), and expect it to be full. After all, what's the point getting the night train then risking missing the first day on the slopes? Confused

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
