Here's something for the weekend: some amusing reflections on tweaking ski hardware performance, by Roger Marolt for The Aspen Times.
I see that one of his friends calls him a 'dinosaur'. My next-door neighbour hurled that insult at me a few months ago, and it was nothing to do with skiing (I hasten to add).

Hilarious article. I must admit, that although I have a set of custom footbeds myself, I can't really see the benefit of them & nearly always ski without. Looking forward to the next installment...
