Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Did you see what happened to Carlisle - every road in and out of the city blocked by flooding. Hope no snowHeads were badly affected by this bout of bad weather. It's moving into Europe but will it bring snow to the Alps ????

Snowing in the Sierra and Rockies. Kickwood has had over 350" already this season (likely to get 4'-8' again this weekend). JH has multiple feet today. Summit is looking to get a foot or so... Of course, it was sunny and in the 50s here in the Front Range today!

kuwait_ian, Looked like high was well established for a while yet, but it's all getting a bit confusing in the animation at http://www.avalanche-net.com/ now (click on meteo, then animation). Seems to be a chance of something next Wednesday as a front passes over the Alps, but their 7 day forecast (les prévisions) doesn't appear to hold out much hope...

PG, yes if I only had one word for that it would have to be confusing. And it looks like westerly streams which tend to be warmer.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Snowed here yesterday evening, around 3 inches / 8 cm in my garden, then rained overnight, now mostly gone. Hope it was cold enough at Glenshee for the rain to be snow (a very few runs open today according to http://ski.visitscotland.com/conditions/?view=Details&id=95028 )
