Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi!
Does any1 know a good site to book ski accomadation in Livigno and also what is the nearest airport? Is the 5hr transfer from Bergamo a necessity?
Thanks,

skikazaa, welcome to snowHead snowHeads snowHead From our very own snowBase resorts database (bottom right of the mountain view) here's the official Livigno website. In the Links pull down menu you can get to the hotel association and then into various categories of hotel, chalet, apartment etc. From a quick look, I wouldn't say it's a good site but it's a start. Or you could email the tourist office on info@aptlivigno.it. This recent thread has specific recommendations and other links.
Sorry can't help on the transfer question but I do know Livigno is considered a bit remote and there's no really easy way to get there.

sorry to hijack this posting but thinking about doing a cheapie week in Livigno- the town looks a bit spread out- is this a problem for getting to slopes/ bars etc?? We are checking out an 'allocation on arrival' deal so don't want to be stuck miles from anywhere!!
