Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Conditions in Tignes at the moment?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

Myself and 2 friends are hoping to get our first snowboarding in this weekend. We have 2 options, Cervinia or Tignes. I have a good idea of the conditions in Cervinia plus I have a webpage with the lift/runs open but I don't really know anything about Tignes.

Does anyone have a good wepage with the conditions and lifts open in Tignes? I know some people here live there so any input would be appreciated. Is the snow park on the glacier open? From tignes.net the glacier closes at 2:45. It seems a bit pricey for 32E but the international pass in Cervinia is 40E. How busy is the glacier? (Thursday being a public holiday in France and all)

As for upcoming snow, Thursday looks like it's promising snow but snow-forecast.com doesn't agree. In any case predictions for 4 days ahead is not too reliable

Yes all runs on the Tignes glacier open at the moment, although I'm not sure how much of the snowpark. However the dump forecast for tomorrow has been revised by Meteo France to a sprinkling, and nothing more this week. There's a couple of snowHeads up there at the moment, and I'll be going up myself tomorrow or Wednesday. Daughter skied there over the weekend, said conditions were great.
