Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tignes Atomic Boot Camp 25/11 - 28/11

Due to unfortunate family circumstances Sad , two of my group will not be able to go on our trip to the boot camp so I have a couple of spaces spare. One twin room for two people, type A room (see http://www.atomicbootcamp.co.uk/accomodation.html). We also have car hire arranged from Geneva if interested.

I can't go unfortunately, but if anyone is tempted by this you should note that GFS is forecasting a big dump of snow for Tignes on the 22nd and 23rd, adding to already good snowcover for this time of year Smile

Got to the chalet hotel tonight, superb so far. The food is excellent and Steve has already sorted us out with skis and lift pass. We should be on the slopes first thing tomorrow, will report on conditions tomorrow evening but we are told that they are excellent for the time of year.

One tip for anyone coming out on the boot camp - the drive from Geneva seemed very smooth to me (I have never done this before) and I would recommend hiring a car. The transfer service seems great but you have to fit in with the scheduled transfers to and from the slopes. A hire car appears to be an advantage if you want flexibility.

pippivixen, great to meet up with you too, wasn't it fun!

Got back last night, had a great blast. Snow was great on most runs, best in the mornings although some runs became icy as the afternoon went on. The staff at Melezes were absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend the place to anyone going out to Tignes - I know we're making plans to go back!

But first day back at work today and I have walked back into a nightmare Mad
