2mrw is payday and company meeting day ( free bar til we all go home or pass out! ) So I shall spend saturday watching kids tv and shopping, and sunday ive got tickets to see One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest in Edinburgh - cant wait! Finally boyfriend has worked out what I wanted for my birthday! WAHOO!

This weekend will be my first back in Wales for a month. A friend of mine has been on holiday at my house (on the coast) for three weeks, in return for fitting a new kitchen there. Twenty first century barter!
A first chance of the summer for a BBQ, and dog down to the beach for a good long swim. Fortunately pub overlooks the beach, and with the proper timing, I sit outside the pub with pint in hand throwing a stick into the sea for dog to retrieve. Both contented.
P.S. Anyone ever seen a Jack Russell surf before. Not kidding, if the waves are biggish he dives through them on the way out, and sort of surfs themn on the way in.

Sarah L, I think they're a little optimistic for Sunday! Saturday should be ok though. We'll be up on the glacier first thing on Saturday - meet up? Don't know how much free time I'll have as I have to do an evaluation video of some ski racers, but we'll be there (Sunday/Monday as well, weather permitting).

Like Cymru am Byth, I'm back off to Wales, taking the baby there for the first time to meet her great-grandmother. Hopefully we'll make it down to the coast around Ogwr for a bit as well.

My weekend starts with watching Leeds Rhinos hopefully beating Castleford Tigers to win the superleague minor premiership. If that happens it will be a very good weekend!

I'll also be trying out my new (picked it up yesterday) Nikon D70 digital SLR - a fantastic boys toy, but must remember not to annoy the gf by spending all w/e taking arty shots of things just because i know that i can delete them if they don't work.

Saturday: Playing at a friend's wedding. That's all I've planned so far. So, that means reduced drinking tomorrow night, or my voice won't be good.
After that, no plans, but I am open to offers...

Going to Hed Kandi in Nottingham on Sunday night, in preparation for next week, when I'll be going to Hed Kandi in Ibiza Town. Yay!

I'm getting married next weekend so I guess I'll being doing some wedding preparation stuff.
Bit silly though getting married outside a mainstream skiing month and going on a sailing rather than skiing honeymoon  .
Depending on circumstances my spouse may however award me a day permit to go up to the Pennines and do something useful to our local ski tow.
I find that summer work parties are a healthy and rewarding counterpoint to sitting in the office. Happily it connects my DIY hormones to my wild upland landscape appreciation centre. And this weekend looks like being relatively dry too !
