I can't make it to the Snowheads Milton Keynes Xscape trip on 7th August but Austin7 and I (and possibly Fox) are going next monday or tuesday, 19th or 20th. Anyone else interested?

Austin7, Monday the half pipe won't be open. so that makes it TUESDAY 20th for our ski. Starting 7.00 (Meet 6.30 at desk or overlooking slope)

Wear the Fox Hat must already have gone away and he'll be back on Sunday, so we'll just have to see if he can come then.

Sorry guys, I lost this thread. I'd love to come but I'm not allowed to drive or walk yet and watching you lot grenade the bunny slope at MK is hardly gonna enhance my recuperation, humour or probably my ski technique. Hire boards guys and join the graceful elite of the mountains. There will be another time when I can demonstrate the true meaning of 'ballistic'.
Mark, with luck, as of tomorrow I should be on my last fixed cast. Thereafter it should be a boot brace and lots of physio – not that the morons here know anything about sports rehab (or even much about this injury repair). I’ve a friend in the local system and, as she puts it, “it doesn’t matter what you think, we’ve been told to get people to the point where they’re mobile enough to be taken off the list. After that it’s their or their GP’s problem.” Doesn’t it give you a warm fuzzy feeling toward our NHS. I know where the Hospital director’s office is – I’m tempted to use these crutches to teach him all about rectal examination!

Masque, hope the physio goes ok and as for the NHS, well get this. I've been waiting for an appointment for the last 5/6 weeks to get a rotator cuff injury looked at and hopefully treated. Recieved a letter from them yesterday asking me to get in touch asap to organise an appointment. Duly phoned only to be told that they in fact had no appointments and that the letter gets put out to satisfy government targets! Unlikely to be seen before September! Astonishing!
