Poster: A snowHead

Can anyone advise on the best way to get from Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Geneva airport in the summer - I need to leave my car in the Alps and catch a flight back, but to my recollection the buses only run in the winter, and the train system seem impossible to decipher as SNCF don't include references to Swiss connections (or so it seems to my simple brain).
Anyone got any tips? Thanks.

You can do it by train, but it's about a 3.5 - 4 hour trip, changing in both Moûtiers and Chambéry.... www.sncf.com definitely includes Genève as a search destination...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks. In France I assume you don't need to book in advance (as a rule)?
Never taken French trains before!

I always book - it's not unknown for all but 1st class tickets to be pre-booked, depending on the time of day, particularly on the TGVs.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but if you go on easyjet.com and then click on airport transfers then they do shuttles from the resort to the airport and vice versa.

Vicky the shuttles only run in the winter.
