Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Manchester Cross Country Ski club have a Telemark Festival at ChillFactore on 30 June and 1 July.

The Festival will be on 30 June from 10-4 with coaching for all levels. Equipment hire is available.

There will be two races, one 6-9 on 30 June and the second 9-12 on 1 July.

It's a really fun event with top quality coaching and the chance to race against members of the current GB team.

Hi Ski- great to meet you at the weekend.

We all had a fantastic time in Manchester - it was fabulous just to feel cool for a few hours. Training was excellent- thank you Ian and Jaz. Racing was exciting although I was captain slow. At least I was not DSQ'd (and I was the fastest on 75mm gear (the only person on 75mm gear)). Brilliant organisation by Caroline and John.

For those of you who are telecurious I suggest trying to get to one of the indoor festivals, or just getting some boots and bindings on ebay and having a go.

For the televangelists then attending the GB telemark championships is a mystical experience- and the best £800 I've ever spent.

2019 will be 12-24 January in Pralongan la Vanoise.

See this website for details eventually https://www.awsa.org.uk/ Last year there was amazing coaching in groups of ability ranging from first time telebabies through to hooning round with Sven Lau (French and World Champion). You just can't go and buy that sort of tuition anywhere else.

For civilians the money gets you- transfers from GVA-PLV. Full board. Lift pass. Tuition. Races. BOOM! (Llama hat not included).

For military / OTC etc prices are less. Which is more than fair.

Go!
