Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

To be fair, Stanton has contributed plenty to the Arlberg threads over the past 10+ years on SH.

Probably more than anyone else on SH.

He may be Dutch, but that's not a reason to sideline him.

Stanton's Arlberg threads are good.

This thread should be closed.

I have been sworn to secrecy as my on the ground source is part of an Interpol Relocation Scheme and would be immediately identifiable as "Dolly" the cloned sheep's great grand daughter.

Otherwise known as "mutton dressed as lamb"! Laughing

Does anyone know how Gunar is and if he’ll be playing this season? Looks as if he’d had a tough time with the big c when I saw him in March.

@skimastaaah, Got loads but sorry don’t know how to post on here....have tried in the past but gave up, life’s too short. Big hikes last 10 days Malfontal, Maroi/ Verwall, Hinterrendl, Gampen/ Galzig, Zwölferkopf and around Lech/ Warth/ Schröcken- just brilliant in summer. Mountainbiking too all around - love the place, views and nature/ wildlife. Super chilled times, top people and great food and Stiegels/ Grüner Veltliners too. Hung out mostly in Galzigbistrobar, Murrmel a bit and Pete’s, found great bargains in Jennewein so all good. Lech/ Warth awesome too. As usual too much to do, so little time....

@stanton, looks a lot better on that photo thankfully. Hopefully he’s making a good recovery as the place just wouldn’t be the same without him.

Not Possible CrossBoarder .. Inland Switzerland you can do that ..

Two Single Tickets .

Tip..
It is cheaper to puchase St. Anton to Innsbruck from the ticket machine in St Anton Bahnhof than online !

Steissbachtal is definitely open. Whether or not it will be after a serious fall of snow is a different matter.

Not long back from a great week of skiing and apres in hinterglemm. Heading to Anton on 9th march with the boys and I will probably need a cheesy apres fix. I've not been to the Moos in years as it's become a bit of an overpriced cliché full of ladies' front bottoms in fancy dress etc - usually favour Griabli for best pint in the Alps and live music, followed by some Gunnar. Is the Moos still playing the cheesy apres tunes, as it might be worth going for a couple of hours pre Gunar.

The Moose was not too crowded on Saturday, same music (I believe the playlist is the same every day), didnt spot any fancy dress but I left at 17:30 so maybe there were later. I would guess the warmer weather will bring more people. Sitting on the terrace at Griabli lets you watch and hear the "show" without the scrum for beer.
