Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Swiss MagicPass Resorts - Easter 2018

Inspire me and point me to the best snow conditions! Toofy Grin

Looking to get some use out of my MagicPass this Easter and maybe even renew if this trip goes well. Where's good to go, where are we all, when are we going to be there?

I'm driving out this Tuesday 27th with Pending Jr (10) in a mini camper and will be heading for various Magic pass resorts before driving to VT for the Family Bash on April 7th.

I've done Crans Montana, St Luc Chandolin Zinal and Grimentz so far. Nax is on the list for this trip - but where else?

I spent a good few days at Nax at the beginning of this month and really enjoyed it, slow lifts but great runs and terrain and very quiet. Fairly high and most of the runs are north facing so should be great over Easter. I would probably split my time between Nax, Grimentz, Zinal and maybe a day in Vercorin. Apart from at St Luc and chandolin which I personally didn't really like, these are the resorts with the most high north facing terrain on the magic pass. Anzere also has a couple of decent runs that should hold good snow if you get bored of the others.

If it's snowing I really like Les Marcottes, seems to get hit the hardest by snowstorms of all the magic pass resorts despite not being very high and has very fun terrain, don't let the fact that there is only one lift put you off. I imagine though that once the sun comes out in April the snow becomes poor very quickly as it is predominantly south west facing
