WANTED: Marker Griffons

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi

I'm after some marker griffons to replace a pair that I swapped from one pair of skis to another.

If anyone has any insight on whether the mounting holes have changed between models or if there are any other bindings that would fit the same mounting holes please tell me!

Tim

The mounting locations haven't changed.

The Marker Free Ten, Squire, Squire ID, Griffon, Griffon ID, Jester, Jester ID & Jester Pro all share the same mounting locations.

I've got the Squire ID & Griffon ID in stock.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Jon,

I'm going to hold out and see if there are any available secondhand as I'm hoping they'll only be temporary until I can afford touring set up.

The Free Ten has the same toe but different heel mounting position.

Yep, you're right. It's the green holes on the jig and not the red Very Happy

@tjpritchard, I have a pair of Squires in good condition that have seen 10 days use. Swapped them out for Barons so no longer required, if you're interested. £50 plus postage, can send photos if you like. Think they are a 110mm brake, they were mounted on my K2 112 waisted skis and were very snug.

@element, thanks for post but my din is a little to close to the max on the squires

@tjpritchard, I'd love for someone more knowledgeable than me to chime in i.e @spyderjon, Happy But as far as I'm aware, bindings are good for their stated DIN range, so I wouldn't be too concerned if you're near the top end especially as you indicate that this is a temporary solution.

@tjpritchard, no worries, let me know if you change your mind.

@RichClark, very valid point. My only worry is that they're going onto Bent Chetlers, and as temporary solutions often end up being un-temporary, that I may want to increase my DIN above 11 to allow for more spirited skiing!

Surely someone must have some!
