Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Am stabbing in the dark looking for a private instructor in the above area for a nervous 7 yo and a confident 9yo (separate lessons).
Given the lack of UK traffic to this resort I am not expecting many replies but grateful to anyone who can advise. Is there a snowheads equivalent for Sued Tirol?

You could try asking a question in the Dolomites snow reports forum as there are a few regulars there, some who I think live in the region:
http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=133271&start=320
Or check out one of the offical schools in the village:
https://www.drei-zinnen.info/en/san-candido/action-sport/winter/alpine-ski/ski-schools.html
Think yours is the first ever post I have seen on the forum regarding this village/area. Hope you enjoy and write a trip report!!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks @jimmybog, that is a good idea. We've been to Innichen to use the pool there while staying in Cortina before, but never skied it. Looking forward to trying it out, will do a trip report.

Excellant. A friend used to go regularly for cross country skiing and loved that region. Be good to hear what the alpine slopes are like.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I am really hopeful, @jimmybog - it's now got quite a big lift-linked area, and Kronplatz is accessible by train if we get bored. Close to innsbruck.
So beautiful, that area, it's a lovely wide valley, and the towns are really attractive. Complete mystery as to why it's so unknown on the Brit market.
