Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Free lift passes for Swedes (& Swedish employees)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Most companies in Sweden provide a tax free ‘health & wellness’ benefit (Friskvård) to their employees which previously covered activities like gym membership, tennis, team sports etc but not what were judged more exclusive sports/activities such as golf, sailing, and skiing etc. After a high court judgement this has been changed so the two ‘tax free’ and ‘non tax free’ lists will be merged and apply from 1 Jan 2018.

Max is 5000 kr (£450) per year. My company allows 3500 kr (£320). Counts towards annual membership, season tickets, or a number of passes up to the limit (does not cover equipment). Nice contribution towards my season pass Smile

Yeah, this is a really nice ruling. Too bad that my local ski hill hasn't even opened yet, so I'm stuck dreaming about skiing at the moment.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The Swedes are all for helping their population stay healthy and fit.
When I lived there 40 years ago I would get my football coach to sign my 'training record booklet' after each training session and when I got enough 'points' I would receive free training kit such as tracksuits etc.
Toppen!

Talking of apartments in ski resorts, we are considering buying an apartment in Are by, there is nothing available at the moment (which is expected as its full on ski season) but we are hoping to find something quite central by midsummer, does anyone have an apartment that they are thinking of selling? Very Happy

We’ve been to Riksgränsen for midsummer, which was lovely.

@Sack the Juggler, Utö, interesting! Not been but it looks lovely (like the rest of the Stockholm archipelago).
