Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A bit late in adding this - was there 13-20 Jan.
Background- 3rd visit to Kappl and was last there 6 years ago or so. Reason for going was the fact our 17 year old daughter was bringing her pal who had had some lessons on dry slopes but never skied on snow. We liked Kappl previously as all the runs meet up mid station so would allow us to split up on different graded slopes then meet up. Wife and our 14 year old son there too.
Snow conditions couldn’t have been better. 1st 2 days were bluebird then we had 4 days of constant snow although vis wasn’t too bad given the lack of tree skiing. Managed Ischgl 2 days but were a bit restricted in the runs we could do due to my daughters pal. Again very inpressed with the skiing but the queues at the Silvrettabahn were horrendous and was a bit surprised at the lack of heated chairs - it was -15 during one day and with windchill on a couple of days must have been even colder. Spent our apes at the Kuhstall which was great. Also spent a short time at Nikki’s Stadl - was good but probably left too soon and never saw it vollgas.
On reflection we should have gone back to Hinterglemm as it would have suited us a lot better. Kappl is pretty dull at night and nothing to do during day when lifts were closed (other than walks down the valley).
Because of the amount of snow falling and winds higher up the vast majority of the lifts were closed for a few days - hey ho it’s just your Donald Duck.
Stayed at the Hotel Alpenfrieden which was difficult to fault. On the piste great food and only €58 a night db&b. Apres in Kappl was pretty disappointing this time round. We had good apres on both visits previously and was same time of year, so didn’t get to party as much as we would have liked.
Had a good holiday but that’s us done with Kappl
