Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Or so it seems according to this article... eating pasta in the Turin Olympic village is like "eating a cat"? Shocked

But who's going to listen to an American's views on food? Look at what they habitually eat. Look at what it does to them!

Lizzard, I thought you'd be a fan, especially as you're named after a song about an American city! wink

Strangely the McD's in Interlaken actually serves a fairly good burger, but that may be due to them having to serve Swiss beef which has some flavour, one person I know however hated them and said she much prefered the normal tasteless cardboard versions served in the UK ...... Shocked wierd eh Confused Laughing

I suspect that the US team are unlucky enough to be somewhere with poor food, or a poor cook, rather than their prefering to eat burgers

The word "old" in the title of this thread concerns me. Are people advocating the eating of stale meat? Are people suggesting that some restarants are selling stale meat?

I think beef needs to be allowed to rot for a while if it is to taste of anything.

Well, when the Olympic Winter Games comes to Ross on Wye, I'll treat you all to a burger from Burger Star, then you'll know what a good burger is like.
