Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

La Plagne 'First Snow' lift passes 2017/18 Season

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi All...

Can anybody tell me whether the First Snow lift pass prices are purely for skiing in the opening 6 days or if the prices are for passes bought (and starting) within the first 6 days but running on beyond that date.

I'm planning to buy for 21-26 December inclusive so obviously hoping it's the latter.

Thanks in advance for any input

The answer is found here https://www.skipass-laplagne.com/en/ Indeed, your dates are 247.50

Christmas week is high season so I doubt there are any discounts, and shows as 265.00

Hi there boredsurfin

Thanks for getting involved and your prompt response.

I have already seen the prices on skipass-laplagne which don't seem to correspond with the official la-plagne.com prices.

I'm looking at a family purchase , 2 adults and 2 kids, which they offer a package price which comes up as £792 total on skipass-laplagne.com for the dates in question.

The official page has two prices listed ; from dates 23/12/17 - 13/04/18 = 848 Euro and from 16/12/17 - 22/12/17 = 680 Euro

What I'm trying to work out is, if I'm buying between 16/12 and 22/12, whether I get the 680 Euro price? It's not very clear and the online purchase is not open yet on the official website so I was wondering if anyone had any local knowledge to clarify it.

Thanks boredsurfin but no clearer I’m afraid.

I think skipass-laplagne are a re-seller as their listed prices are higher than the official la-plagne website

I thought their was just one site for buying passes online, do the purchase links take you to different sites ?

Just my opinion but I would have thought if buying and using in first week you would get the lower price even if your trip spanned first and second weeks.

OK, seems that the pass offers on skipass-laplagne are giving me a partial deal on the 'First Snow' price and the rest at the usual family deal where all passes are at child prices hence the discrepancy in prices.

Tried putting in the opening week as my dates and got the full discount price so apologies for doubting your previous sage advice.!
