Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The three-cable train is no longer in our planning," confirmed Snowspace Salzburg Board Christoph Baumann on Tuesday to the APA a report of " Salzburger Nachrichten ". The background to the decision is the takeover of the Bergbahnen Flachau by Bergbahnen Wagrain this spring. "The merger has changed the premises," said Baumann

There were two parallel projects in the direction of Zauchensee and we now want to make the other one possible via Wagrain-Kleinarl." The Grießenkar is to link the Wagrain and Kleinarl ski areas first. This merger should have taken place as early as December 2018, but is now postponed by one year. Here it was still necessary to prevent creating a bottleneck, Baumann explained the shift. With this connection can then be driven directly to the valley station in Flachauwinkl, where on the other side of the highway, the ski Zauchensee begins

@holidayloverxx, that is a long route. Is the other option from the top of the Topliner? Seems much, much shorter.
Is there a terrain issue that way?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Frosty the Snowman, no idea about the topography. it would have cost €60 million, and now that Wagrain are in charge of the lifts they aren't going to fork out to connect Flachau, hence they are looking at the ..presumably cheaper.. option of linking Wagrain and Kleinarl

By connecting Wagrain to Kleinarl it seems it would by topliner to the top of Absolut park at shuttleberg. TBH I have no idea how these two aren't linked yet, seems like a missed opportunity for a properly large connected area and with 3 parks in total...

The most recent piece in the newspaper said the planned new lift was between Flying Mozart top station and Shuttleberg top station. It also said Flying Mozart gondola would be upgraded with larger gondolas (same infrastructure) and that the bottom lift at Shuttleberg would be replaced with a gondola. Nothing seems to have been confirmed.
