Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski school pila what to do?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi
We're going to pila for 4 days end Feb. We've skied many times before but we're going with my brothers family, my brother can ski. His wife has had a few lessons before, very nervous beginner. 9 yr old who is snow plough turning and confident, and a 5 year old who has never skied.
We contacted the ski school who have suggested group lessons for the 5 year old which run Monday -Friday, but wouldn't that mean he joins the group mid way through the week and he won't of ever put skis on before?!
The oldest boy and my sister-in-law are going to go for private lessons together, which is fine but I just can't seem to work out what happens with the 5 year old in a group who have been learning all week and he turns up 3 days into the week?
Anybody used ski school pila for very young beginners? How does it work? Would he be better with private lessons?
Any advise much appreciated!!
Thanks

Perhaps get the 5 year old some lessons in a snowdome to be at same level as others in class.
