Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

If flight not yet booked - you could consider direct train from Zurich to St Anton. You get the train at the airport station and I think elapsed time will be similar.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

This thread http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=134310 suggests that that you can take a bus (taxi?) to Innsbruck station and from there train to St. Anton.
Alternatively she could fly to Zurich and train from there (train from airport to main station and then train to St. Anton).

Very few (any?) trains run from Zürich airport direct to St Anton. You usually have to change at the HBf. No big deal. From the HBf, there are trains almost every 2 hours during the day that will take you to StA without a further change. It takes about 10 - 15min on the train from the airport to the HBf, and about 2 ½ hours from the HBf to StA on a direct train, eg the Railjet.
Innsbruck airport to station is a fairly short taxi or bus ride, maybe 10 min. StA is a bit over an hour from Innsbruck.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Zürich Airport has the train connection (with change at Zürich main station).
But Innsbruck is much faster. Bus from airport to station, direct train to St.Anton.
English is widely spoken in Austria. Information in stations and trains is bilingual.
But with a very early flight to Innsbruck, and a taxi to St.Anton, it is possible to be on piste around 11 am

There is a bus that takes you to the train station in Innsbruck and costs a few yo-yos. Taxi is quicker to station and I’d guess would be in the region of €20-30. The train is pretty frequent to St. Anton and will take roughly an hour. Pretty painless journey.

Bus F from Innsbruck airport to train station (~15 mins) then 1 hour direct train to St Anton. Really easy journey.

It's super easy as @clarky999 says above and there are guaranteed to be loads of other Brits about to help her out if required as the trip described is a very popular pilgrimage.
It's cheap too. €4 for the bus is it and then about 20€ for the train? Something like that.

As @clarky999, says really easy & relaxing.
Forget a Taxi-
Bus cost about €2.30 from Airport to Train Station (cheaper for students)
Cheaper to buy train ticket from Machine at Train Station (Innsbruck Station to St Anton) than online save about €2 one way.
