Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow Conditions

Just back from Bourg/Les Arcs - have to say that the snow depths are the most impressive I've seen in 35 yrs of visiting. 2000 bowl is just full of snow with no rocks on or off piste. On a day trip to EK conditions up there are equally as good. Anyone heading out before the end of the season is in for a treat!

Only one gripe....don't like the way that the Les Arcs race club have commandeered most of the Cachette run above 1600.......the entire top half has been fenced off for competition use only and the old blue run is now the piste. Its a great run and a real shame - no one was using it for training or competition in the week were there. The fresh powder was to much to resist - but didn't feel right having to "sneak" under the fence to enjoy it.

Cachette is a homologated piste, they’re going to keep it that way. Did you really ski it anyway? Skiing a closed piste, especially one that’s closed for those purposes is dangerous
