Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Spas in Maria Alm/Leogang/Saalbach/Zell am Zee

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We will be visiting Maria Alm next year and my wife( doesn't like skiing) is interested in spending some time at some nice spa resorts whilst I ski with our sons

We will be based at Maria Alm so does anyone know of good ones there or surrounding areas like Saalfelden?

I will probably do 2 day trips too, one to Saalbach although we will probably enter the area for skiing via Leogang and one to Zell am Zee, so I've already looked at the Tauern for there, although that does look like about another 15-20 mins further on

Any suggestions would be most appreciated

Thanks

The hotel Eder in Maria Alm has a nice spa ,small indoor /outdoor pool. There are a number of nice hotels in Leogang but it's really spread out village .Think the salzburgerhof at the bottom of the asitzbahn has a spa and there are a number of other 4 star hotels in the in the vicinity of the gondola which may have spas. There is a amazing hotel called mama thresls just across the road from the asitz( one of the best we have ever stayed in)They have another hotel nearby called priesteregg which looks amazing and has a spa.Think it's a drive though.

There's the luxurious 5 star Krallerhof Hotel at the bottom of the Steinbergbahn at Leogang. it's in the same ownership as the Alte Schmiede and the Asitzbraeu, two of the best mountain restaurants in the area. http://www.krallerhof.com/en/superior-wellness-hotel-krallerhof/
