Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where to stay in Tignes mid December?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Myself and four friends are due in Tignes on Tuesday 12th December for a short break leaving on Saturday 16th and I'm looking for accommodation.
I've tried Chalets direct and had a couple of offers but all in Les Brevieres which I understand is a bit far down the valley.
Seeing a it's very early season should we try to stay in Le Lac or Val Claret?
A chalet would be great but b&b or SC would be fine.
We are blokes in our early 40's who are there for the skiing but enjoy a few beers too.
Thanks.

@maddness, you could try the Tignes Chalet Company. They are up and running that time of year as they do pre-season accommodation for those training in pre-season. When I stayed there a couple of years ago there were two guys in our chalet who weren't training and just did a part week.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

try appartatinges.com or booking.com etc Val Claret would be best bet and Le Lac would be my second choice. You should be able to get up there at that time of year although most still prefer to do sat to sat bookings. Try air bnb too
