Questions questions questions

Hi guys new to the forum and my 1st post which is of course a question.

I have decided to put an air of doubt in my mind as to what it's going to be like skiing on my 1st set of twin tips. Volkl Bash 89.

Anyway I've spent many years skiing on my Head Supershape I Titans which have been great (if a little hard work when tired)

Anyway my question is this. If I managed to only pack the twin tips how capable will they be on normal red and blacks and some of the steeper (and deeper) stuff?

Most of the day will be on piste but I am skiing switch and jumping 180s etc but I've only done this at Hemel snow dome.

Am I worring to much or will I be disappointed on the on piste performance?

I alternate between two sets of twin tips (the fattest is 120mm) and SL and GS pure piste skis. All diffferent but all fun. As long as you adapt your style a little and get used to them you should be fine.

I’ve taken to almost exclusively skiing a twintip 106 and it’s fine. Sure it isn’t the best on a rock hard piste, but on everything else I love them.

Depends what you want to do though, if you want rail carves all over the mountain then they may not be ideal, but if they’re 90 underfoot they should still be capable (in fact the Whitedot One is an 89 that is remarkably easy to edge)

Most just enjoy the slopes but I love this 1 bar at the end of a few steep black runs Skullie
