Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Frank McCusker, SCGB CEO has died.

I was sorry to hear today that Frank McCusker, the CEO of the Ski Club of Great Britain for the last 5 years, died of a heart attack this weekend while cycling with friends.

I met him a few times and he seemed a nice guy.

This from the SCGB:
Code:
It is with deepest sorrow that the Ski Club of Great Britain confirms the death of our Chief Executive Frank McCusker on Sunday June 25th 2017 at the age of 55.
Frank was on a cycling trip with a group of friends when he suffered a sudden heart attack.
The Chairman of the Ski Club, Rob Crowder, said " we are all in shock at this tragic news and the loss of a valued friend and colleague. Our thoughts are with his wife Stephanie and his children, Archie and Mollie. Frank was a highly respected figure within the Snowsport Industry and will be sorely missed by so many people”

Frank was a kind, thoughtful and passionate colleague who respected everyone’s opinions and was keen to bring the Ski Club to new audiences in the digital age. He will be greatly missed by all at the Ski Club of Great Britain.

Very sad news. I skied with Frank just after he became CEO and he was a lovely guy.

@Davina Goldballs, take your personal obsessions/gripes elsewhere. Not really appropriate on this thread.

Crikey, spoke at length with him in Tignes, really nice bloke. He also had 'his head screwed on' regarding where the SCGB needed to go.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I only spoke to him briefly once or twice and he seemed a most genuine person.

It's a sad reminder of how fragile life can be.
